Ryde, the first story by Brian Visciglia, is emerging as a scary, tasteless, sincere and intimidating female antagonist, “American Psycho.” Christian Bale Bateman has a clue in David Wachs’ psychosis, but none of Bret is Easton Ellis satire.
Wachs (“The Last Hurry”) is portraying a solitary solo Paul, who wanders in the “Ryde” cabin overnight. (Basically Uber). L.A. He decided to steal a car and posing as a charming driver named Karl, realizing that he would prepare something to walk around his streets, catch hot strangers and kill them.
A simultaneous story sees Yasemin (Jessica Serfaty, “FML”) and the horrible lover Marcus (Ronnie Alvarez, “Kill Kapone”) go out into the town.
